2027 Spring Total Herd Enrollment now open

Spring calving is just around the corner, which means that the 2027 Spring Total Herd Enrollment (THE) season is open now through the American Simmental Association. Get the best returns for the time and money you’ve invested into your herd by enrolling in THE!

Submit your inventory:

• Early (by Dec 15, 2026)
• Accurately (don’t pay for dams that are gone and make sure all new heifers and purchased cows are listed to ensure complete dam records)

Don’t forget, you must submit an updated inventory to benefit from our early enrollment rates. Even if you don’t think there are any changes to your herd, review the list and submit your inventory today.

Reminders:

• Spring THE is for cows that calve between Jan.1 and June 30
• Spring Early Enrollment is from Oct. 15 to Dec. 15, 2026
• Spring Late Enrollment is from Dec. 16, 2026 – Feb. 15, 2027 (incurs $1.00 late fee per dam)
